Anti-microbial - MicroBlock™ - Pro-Line Series: Ladder Pull Handle - Back-to-Back, Matte Black Powder Coated Finish, 316 Grade Stainless Steel Alloy

Strongar Hardware® uses MicroBlock™, a silver ion based antimicrobial technology, that will resist and inhibit the growth of microorganisms by forming a protective surface against microbes, pathogens, and bacteria, such as:  

• Escherichia coli (ATCC 8739)

• Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 33591)

• Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 33591)

It also suppresses the growth of harmful mold, mildew, and fungus.  In just 2 hours at room temperature the Silver ion technology will reduce bacterial growth by 99.99%, keeping surfaces cleaner, longer.

FUNCTIONALITY

MicroBlock™ is incorporated into the powder coating of the material during the manufacturing process and is thus evenly distributed throughout the product. Once bacteria comes into contact with the surface the encapsulated silver ions are slowly released from the antimicrobial compound to the treated surface where they interact with microorganisms on the surface of the product disrupting its biological functioning, the lifecycle cannot proceed and the bacteria then die.
